Cast Your Nets: Sunday, January 29th January 24, 2012

This weekend there is an exciting opportunity for teens from Our Lady of Victory (and all over the Cincinnati area) to join in a youth rally called Cast Your Nets at Good Shepherd parish from 5-9pm. This event includes live music, a guest speaker, confession and Mass and, of course, food (Pizza to be exact) all for the price of $5 per person! This event is entering its 5th year and this will be the first year that we will be able to attend.
Cast Your Nets is open to teens in grades 7-12 with a special emphasis on high school teens. However, for those preparing for confirmation, this would be a great way to get excited about living out your faith in your everyday life as a Catholic confirmed and sealed by the Holy Spirit. (It’s also a great way to get personal growth service hours!)
To sign up, simply leave a comment on this post or call Wayne and Marianne Topp (contact info found on all parish bulletins) and print off the Cast Your Nets permission slip, fill it out and bring it with you on Sunday.
We will leave for Cast Your Nets at 4:00 from the Convocation Center parking lot and return at 10:00. Remember, this event includes Sunday Mass, so if you have homework left on Sunday, get it done in the morning. See you then!
